For those reasons I have steered clear of them.

first you claimed they have geomitry problems, than they are too lite, now some HEAD BUILDER told you to steer clear of them,do you ever run out of bullchit?

What I meant by the geometry problem was a generalized statement not directed towards a pro 1 head. But a BBC in general.

You should see the geometry on some of AFR"s bbc heads. Particularly the intake rocker stud to valve distance. Nothing a .090 backset rocker arm couldnt help though. Now, with a scorpion rocker or comp rocker, perfect pushrod length, the roller tip would be nearly on the retainer, rather than the valve stem. But supposedly they fixed that.

There are other marks on the cover but none as pronounced as this one. Nothing seams broken here.

i have seen the stock covers get rubbed like that a few times due to the difference in the base circle of the cam and geomitry issues due to improper setup.im not saying that is your deal,it is hard to tell from the pictures.maybe you should throw the pro1 heads away as bb claims they are all junk, lol.or add a vc gasket to raise the cover a little,i have seen it done with good results.

Tink, what rocker studs are in those heads? Just wondering why the intake poly set screws, are sunk quite a bit down in the lock, where the exhaust, not so much. How much thread engagement did you have on those intake studs???

Obviously you have no reading comprehension. Please read and re-read post #20 and maybe you will get it on your own. I may have some bullchit coming out of my mouth but obviously you have diarrhea of the brain.

I <3 forum wars....

so what's up with the afr exhaust ports :-P

I read Post #20 and you can take i both ways.

I took it first as any motor with rocker arms has a geometry problem.

But, re reading it, I can see it the other way.

So, your both right and wrong.

Miscommunication thru typing at it's finest.

Move on.
