I would save it, it can be cleaned and used for something else critical like a PS cooler.

that is a large cooler and most ps coolers are much smaller.just my opinion.

If you find a shop that has a ultrasonic clean that is big enough to fit it in, put in the tank and pump clean fuid through it after it has run for 15 minutes and it will be as clean as new. Just a thought, I have a large one and they clean everthing inside and out.

There are approx. 75 tubes in that cooler. There are endless places for trash to hide. Personally, we NEVER reuse a cooler that was on an engine that had any type of mechanical failure. It just isn't worth potentially trashing a new engine over a $300-$400 oil cooler. But that's me.

you can but if the cooler has chit in it and then plugs the filter (over time) you would starve the engine of oil... common sense guys not rocket science
