0k151091 it's a 96 mercruiser 7.4 lx efi

7.4 lx mpi... I had a fall on face problem, drained and refilled tank, new fuel water filter/seperator, cleaned the filter in the vst, cap rotor etc. etc... still seemed to fall on face reving at the dock. finally hooked up a good timing light with tach to it.. the rev limiter iis so low on it it was hitting it.. took it out and it ran great. No idea what fixed it as I just kept fixing because it didnt 'feel' right... moral of the story, make sure you have a problem not a limitation....

Pretty much done all that mine does not have a vst tank on it
