I've got a 7.4 lx efi the motor is tbi injected the problem I'm having with it is it falls on its fact on the top end. I have replaced cap, rotor, plugs, wires, checked fuel pressure 30psi under load, set timing at 8 degrees in base timing mode, replaced fuel water separator and still is doggy any thoughts?

I believe there is another filter by the throttle body also. Dump your separator in a coffee can (yes again) and see what you have.

No other fuel filters but I will drain the seporator and see what I get

Drained the seporator and hooked an aux tank up with fresh fuel no change

No the boat is not over proped I'm running a 21p it will bog reving it in neutral

It will run fine till about 3/4 throttle anything after that it just bogs only get 4100 rpm on a good day the boat is a 22 scarab

Any trouble codes ?

What rpm did it run with the same prop when it ran well ?

It never ran right from day one bought it last year towards the end of the season so didn't use it much
