Renegade Racing oil 3000ppm
Valvoline Vr1 2100ppm
Both excellent oils. One things I don't like about VR1 is it's very difficult to see on the stick. Renegade is blue. They are both in the $4-5/ qt range.

While he did not, nor I did not, build his shortblocks, they leak down just fine, and since that video was taken there was nothing coming from the breathers besides a fine mist of oil, which is why even the best marine engine builders have puke tanks on their big power engines. That "smoke" you see, is NOT burning oil coming from breathers.
Either of you guys got any videos of your boats running? Seems like you guys always have alot to say, but nothing to show.

I'm sure you guys are referring to Icdedppl's video. FWIW, that is steam vapors from the moisture in the oil thanks to his leaking stellings headers, which have been replaced with stainless marine Gen III exhaust and 5'' dry tails.

Fast widebands dont hold up well when you get them wet after you flip your boat over trying to do speed runs, or lose control of it and crash it into the rocks. Best bet is to keep the electronics to a minimum, and stick to plug reading . Plus, replacing all those pistons is fun when you melt them and blame it on your timing light accuracy.
