I think the Walmart label is unique to the 5 qt. jug. I have Mobil 1 quarts from Walmart and they do not have Walmart listed on them. I've not seen the 5qt. jugs anywhere but Walmart. Anyway, I should clarify that 400 hour claim. Not all of that 15W50 came from Walmart in the 5 qt. jugs. I also buy Mobil 1 at Farm and Fleet by the 6 quart case when Mobil has there rebate program.
Someone mentioned tires. I've only ever bought Walmart/Sam's Club tires once. I bought a set of BFG AT KO's for my 2500 DMax. Tires lasted 22K and they were bald. I chalked it up to a diesel truck with a tune and mostly in-town driving. However, I'd ran those tires for years on other trucks and always got 35K - 40K miles out of a set. Hmm.... |

The newer BFG's stink period. I had a set of those same tires on a bone stock f250 diesel a year ago.....28k miles and donezo. They must have really cheapened up the compounds.

The 5 quart Jugs are available from other retailers. Why more don't carry them, I don't know. 5 quart jugs of any oil is more convenient than single quart bottles.

Quick search, supposedly Advanced and Autozone are 2 of them........call before you drive.

My local Oreilly's shows 5 quart jugs of Mobil 1 in stock.
Okay....back to work for me....that's enough of that. LOL. |
BTW, my 357,000 mile Benz that I exclusively used Walmart Mobil 1 5w30 in - changed the oil when FSS indicated a change was due, which was about every 18,000 miles. Yes, OMG, 18,000 miles between changes.
So tell me again how inferior Walmart M1 is? You guys go ahead and pay an extra 10 bucks per jug at Orielly or wherever. Makes no sense to me. |
None of my Walmart 5 qt jugs say anything about Walmart anywhere.
