Morel vs Johnson lifters. Info needed

Planning ahead for an upgrade. Looking for key differences or any testing that proves one is superior to another. If one is better, why and in what setup; HR, solid, etc.

Thanks

The BBC in the President's limo has Johnson lifters. I would imagine they have gone through extensive testing before they made there way into the engine. To the tune of 500hrs with 800lbs open without a failure.

Hylift Johnson or Johnson lifters?
At PRI the guy at Hylift Johnson said that the other Johnson lifters were repackaged, and not to confuse those with theirs. And he also had a good explanation why Hylift high RPM lifters were better than others. I don't know for certain just what he said.

I thought the "beast" obama rode in, was diesel powered, built on a Kodiak truck frame . You're saying it has a big block chevy with Johnson lifters?

I would take a solid roller any day of the week over a hydraulic roller. I know many people have had to change them and that's a lot of valve adjustment time. You will see no failure coming with hydraulic lifters.
