it would be nice if dale told the complete story. there's two sides to every story . what you don't know is dale came to pick the motors up and didn';t wnat to use my carbs that went with the motors. pulled them off, put his carb plate on and broke a stud off on the motor that is now broken. first, i have no idea what HIS carbs are jetted for, second, id have no clue what he set the timing at, third, looks like he used the same intake gaskets again, fourth, if he had the motor apart after first purchasing them, why didn't he see all of this "rust" in the motors then??? simple , it wasnt there when he originally took the motor apart. the motors in question came out of a yr 2000 41 avanti, not sure where this 1994 garbage comes from, not to mention the motors were factory sealed. never once did i say the motors had a complete rebuild. i told dale exactly what was done to the motors. the motors had complete head jobs with new valve springs from chris at cnc machine. all new rings and a fresh hone on the cylinders . two turn key motors with 75 psi oil pressure for the lump sum of $7500 bucks plus his old 420's. not only did i give dale multiple chances to return the motor but i also said if it was NOT something i did i would still do the labor for free. not sure how much more you would like me to do for someone but i most certainly didn'[t hang dale out to dry. he said his "professional" guy was going to do it.
