502 Cast iron head and cam upgrade
Still researching the best combo for my 502 in my 29 Scarab
Got a fully Rebuilt HP500 motor and looking to upgrade the top end
Was looking at the dart 308 iron eagle heads (SALT WATER) , Dart single plane intake manifold use and a custom cam from Bob Mandera ..".
Salt water use thats why I want stay with Iron heads ......
I have CMI dry Exhaust and a holley 800 cfm carb
Is this a good combination for Power in my 502 ????

I would also go with the bigger carb (Holley Marine Dominator?) and look at the World Products Merlin single plane intake with the bronze liners. If it is in your budget, you might want to get Bob to build your long blocks, it will likely save to $ in the long run.
