post # 7 and # 8 plus a good read from Tim Wusz. I always try to follow anything he has to say. One of the smartest around about fuels and oils and he told me face to face many many years ago never run AV gas in your marine engines as well. .

But, but, but...my boat has a propeller just like an aeroplane!!!! And I think Chris needs to get redbull to sponsor his batboats, it will give them wings!!!!!!!

I spoke with Eric Simon, owner of Simon Motorsports. He built both of my motors, including reprogramming the ECU, his upgraded heads, larger throttle body and fuel rail, lightened flywheel and a host of other goodies, and he said 100LL aviation fuel is the only thing he runs in his stuff. Thanks for all the replies.

I mix 100LL Av Gas with our available 91 octane no-ethanol to produce 93 octane fuel as recommended by Mercury for my 300xs's. There are ratio calculators on line to help with the calculations. Works great for me.
