Actually, people could see them, how else would they have quoted them ?
See here for example:

So...how and why did your posts disappear ?

I guess the tech discussion is pretty much dead here. Mike, Scott has posted some good info here, why try to chase him away?? I don't get it. It doesn't sound like you.. It sounds like from bobs s mouth to your ear and then here. Shame that one person is putting a wedge between friends and any good discussion here. I'm having some issues, I posted them on another site <sigh >

and just FYI, if your posts vanished from OSO, it means that a Mod or Admin made them go away. I'm sure they had a good reason.

Would that be like your "bunch" ? Or was it just a big coincidence that you rejoined OSO under a different user name right after offshorexcursion posted his epistle, that he refused to reply to and sent all his buddies to speak for him, including you?

Water under the bridge as far as I'm concerned. That was another lifetime ago.

It was deleted , which i find funny. Did the thread about randy garciga get deleted ? Or the other hundred threads of an unhappy customer speaking out in public?
Maybe it somehow violated oso's handbook. Might be time to double check the rules, and restart that thread. Are the people allowed to speak, or is this pre wwii germany?

Bolted a set of Aluminum Merlin III's to a pair of Gen 6 515's a few years ago. ARP didn't have a part# for the latest version of those heads so it took some piecing together to get the head bolt lengths correct. I did not have this issue when bolting similar heads to my mark IV 454's a year prior since the threaded holes went down into the jacket.
