I didn't want to cut into crank since specs were ok, just all over.... is what it is but I would do different cranks next time...I was able to get real cheap pricing on Eagle that's why I used them. should have not done that..

Looking into going with Schumann pumps this time around , or titan but those are some $$
Could you restrict a bit of the oil to the spring oilers. You could use some nitrous jets to regulate the oil to oilers?

lifters are .0022 across the board.

I never see less then 25 at idle no matter what, always shows 70 when running with oil temps in 220 range
imo those are perfect numbers for a endurance marine engine that uses a oil pan with a minimum of 8 qts and 20w50 wt oil.

Everyone uses carb jets. The leakage from the oilers running wide open is way to much. Even when you "jet" them down they still spray oil like crazy...

It`s a 1/8 line going in and I would assume properly sized jets already built in.

You can run both sides off of one small jet and it will still oil the springs like crazy and you will not have oil pressure issue.

oil pans are 12QT to ensure good oiling.

You can see oil pressure, rom and oil temp here from October run. Don't mind te chitty looking gauges, still need to replace them lol

I`d be afraid that it wouldn`t be enough oil volume to spray the springs. That it would dribble out instead of a nice stream. ??

I need some clear valve covers :-)

Might be a dumb idea, but how about when you reassemble it you run the pump off of a distributor priming tool run by a variable speed drill with no valve covers on? Then you could jet down your oilers to a point where you are comfortable with the spray and bring up your oil pressure. Lots of variables with regards to oil temperature and viscosity, but maybe you can learn something from the experiment.
