CFM on the 500 EFI Heads?
#24
I have new sets of Dart 308 iron eagles. I did a minor port match to the exaust gasket. I left the bottom untouched for an anti reversion dam and left about a 1/16" all the way around so its not really matched, just closer. I don't expect noticeable gains here.
I did however very carefully clean up the combustion chamber including the heavy ridges around the valves seats, smoothed them and the chamber out. I did not change the shape of the chamber other than taking off the ridges around the seats. I assume this is kind of what is done to the cnc chamber of the dart pro 310?
I would be very interested to know the before/after flow numbers and what type of porting/head work is done.
Thanks.

I didnt see post number 1. Thanks for clearing that up. Maybe you can post what a stock untouched 500efi head flows. Then, we can discuss the variances between different flow benches, and how those numbers may also be off from what the OP's heads actually flow. I went back and edited my post with the flow numbers i put up in an effort to give the OP a ROUGH idea of what those style heads flow. Do i believe the numbers afr or dart put on their website for flow ? Absolutely not.
Want precise numbers, take your own heads to a bench and flow them.
To the original poster F1-00 racing, are these heads bone stock, or have they been redone at any point ?
