Default Nose cone removal

Port side drive has a nose cone and I want to remove it. What's the best way not to break something in the process? TRS drives.

Grinder / chisel/ Grinder, Start forward so once you brake through you can follow the cone back and grind away. you will then find out if it was welded or epoxied on

It looks like epoxy, there is a crack all the way around. I was wondering how strong it the epoxy, is it similar to JB weld?

Yes, it probably is. Just go slow. you'll get it off. I wouldn't be surprised if its faster with them off

No nose cone has more rpm, but also found 2 spark plugs cracked so that should be the issue, now that I know engines are 3hp away from each other I will see what it does now

The nose cone produces prop slip, but they look cool. It should be the other way, what type of props are you running?
