Default Gil exhaust cracking location

I have a few sets of BBC Gil exhaust I acquired. In the process of getting them fixed. Most of the soft or casting plugs leaked so those will be welded up. But my question is where were the manifolds famous for cracking? I would like to have some preventive welding done in the area to not possibly have issues down the road. I do have a pic of exhaust outlet of manifold but I can't post pics.

Here is a online version from someone..

Buying new is not a option at this time. I have searched oso and can't seem to find a pic or detail of cracking location.. One set says Gil, other set says mercruiser

Thank you for any info

They tend to crack below the riser where the dividers meet the sides of the manifold.

Thank you Griff. If they are not cracked already I am gonna have the welder go around that area you speak of.

I would not weld them inside unless they leak. And if the plugs leak you may be able to buy a pipe tap and just plug them. I have seen them rot through about 1" down from the flange in salt water but fresh water should be good there.
