I basically have this exhaust - but my end one is a 90* - on port side - i have water inlet to rear due to Alt at front.

I'm hitting the cooling pipe elbow not the manifold itself.

yes I have the 3 pulley set-up.
So, the plug in the elbow is hitting the alt ?

How about using a hex an plug:

You prob need the imco relocation bracket. It uses the stock belts but moves the alternator down and the ps pump up. I've run into this several times and the bracket they sell hasn't let me down yet. If they are out of stock I have 2 I'd consider selling

It's the lower water inlet elbow hitting his neg alt post. Post can be trimmed or relocate ground however the plastic alt cover looks like it's limiting the swing of the alt also.

My old points alternators were much smaller than the new 1 post ones I replaced them with limiting my adjustability also. And that's with cmi exhaust.

i reamed the mount holes to make bracket swing down about 1/8" i got it on, and i have about 3/32 clearance. I had to really tape up the next lead (purple one) - cause not that stud is close to the elbow - but it clears.

Unlimited - do you have a pic of the bracket - i might look into that

Thanks

the imco bracket is the proper way to get it done.trying to bend the fitting is asking for trouble.bite the bullit and order the bracket,it will save a lot of headache and it looks clean.
