I get what you are trying to say , but the only thing the oil is doing is cooling and oiling the bearing and if they are coming apart you are going to have more problems than trash in your oil plus the drain line is not that big so the trash will be small

Doing very quick research, looks like Merc #845668T (one piece rear main) has it.
Also appears an aftmk't copy has it too: http://www.michiganmotorz.com/74l-82...an-p-4052.html
Click pic, then click that to go thru the photos and you'll see the plug too.

That would be sweet! I'll take a look at it later today.
This is the EFI that I was looking at. It's already set up for a blow-through situation.

Using my Holley 130gph with 1/2" line from the tank to feed the fuel command center

I have a v4 on a 500efi. the earlier manuals said into the pan with an option to go into the valve cover. the later versions only say into valve cover. The 502 vortech manual I have says into the pan as option 1 and then valve cover. Same as the old 500efi manual. I think they found that the oil backed up in the hose when attached to the pan, so the later manuals are into the valve cover only. I did mine into the pan and I was getting some residue into the blower horn. I am going to change to into the valve cover.
