I called EP twice and apparently of the mega amount of sets they have sold - no one has ever called back with this issue.

Actually i called several more times because i did have other issues with them as well. Some of the polyloc set screws came in the set as 7/32" hex wrench, the other four -- where 5mm !!!! Thought i had been working too hard so tried the two wrenches about 5 times. He did send me four more correct ones though.

Also one of the shallow recessed areas where the bottom of the adj nut hits the trunnion but fits into this recess, well, the nut wouldn't go down into the recess, but only by a few thousandths. just had to clean it out a little.

I noticed that the Comp Cam gold unit had no recess cut in it, it was just ground flat across the top.

I figured if i got another set, something else might be wrong, so i just kept those, but will be returning them.

Congrats... Lesson learned. Chit happens. Btw your correct by center of stem to center of roller tip is ideal however when you roll engine over just make sure as u watch the roller tip it will move slightly both directions on the stem. So I just meant you will have to find your happy spot (center of tip to center of roller) and try and shoot for equal amount of measurement on stem that the roller tip does not touch. You might be perfectly fine as is but just ck it regardless. I always just aim for total movement in the inner 1/3rd of the stem as valve opens and closes.

Are these geometry readings close enough to center or should i go buy new shorter pushrods???
I don't mind getting them if you think thats far enough off that it should be corrected.
