Question Formula 382 Fastech

Anybody know what the small "pull Cable" behind the dash is for.
It is a small stel cable with a piece of metal attached to it so you can grab and pull it.

Parachute!
Good one Dennis.
Now you're getting in the swing of this place.

A steel cable with a pull tab?
Maybe some one can shed a little light on this?

Is it a manual release for the electric engine hatch? (Although I would not expect it to be behind the dash.)

Cool Reply to "cable under dash" question.

Pulling down on this cable releases the dashboard security latch, thus enabling the entire dashboard to be tilted forward for convenient access to all wiring behind dash instruments.
