Formula 382 Fastech
I am currenlty putting a Race fairing in place of the Windshield, and having all the SS Rails powder coated White to match the boat. has anybody done this before? Also if anybody is interested in the Polished Windshield with 40 hrs, and a Factory Cockpit Cover (which won't fit anymore) I will sell them.

...puder writes Audiofn's posts for him.
Bripar77 - Have you got a $ number in mind for the SS windscreen? How hard is it to remove/install? (Already have a cockpit cover.)

C Spray, My name is Dave from RI. If you do not have the polshed windshield on your 382 it is a great piece. I had a 272 and a 336. The windshields come off fairly easily. They slide together in c- channel sections. They sit in a gasket. You remove the black foam rubber insert at the bottom of the windshield to access the screws. Formula told me some boats were thru bolted, but I have not seen one . Just wood srewed to the fiberglass deck.

Dave - I agree, the SS windshield frame makes a spectacular addition, and I've talked to bripar a little about his. It's just question on money right now. I might consider getting my aluminum fram re powder-coated in a bright finish, or in a complimentary color instead.

The stainless polished windshield frame looks nice but it has two downfalls.
1. It shows every fingerprint so it needs wiping frequently to keep it shining.
2. If the sun is aft of you it glares like a mirror back in your eyes.
Just FYI
