Default weighed the boat today

called venture and gave them model #, they said 1420
unhitched the hull and trailer on the scale it said 3860

so without battery, engine, exhaust, transom assembly and drive, and unknown what if anything is in the tank, she tipped in at 2440
everything else is there pumps, steering, cables, wiring, everything, boat is 26x8

what do you think

so heavy then?
i cannot see where the weight is, she's not cored hull or sides and the deck is not made to have the strippers up there

thought i read a 24 weighed in at 3400 turn key but that might have been disinformation

If you're looking at OEM advertised weights I think they fill the boat with helium balloons when weighing the beasts.

6, i would appreciate that,
but i can't say that's what will end up in there.
actually just broke down the dummy stringers and transom (new boat stringers are taller, thicker, and farther apart) have to rebuild to new specs.
besides i gotta stay on 1 part of the project at a time. boat first, pulley to prop shaft second.

pismo, believe it or not i had a good laugh about that, but i would be very surprised if that boat had any water issues
