Bob is not God, I learned that when my cams are horrible for my combo... 630 hp with a 540 and Afr heads with bobs cam... By far not impressive at all!

I didn't give valakos exact specs especially on the lift. Not really my place. But I will say he makes great power with shorter duration higher lift cams. It works very very well with his combo especially with his heads. Superior flowing heads don't necessarily like big cams. Just depends on what the application is for. You'll get yours figured out when time permits. I can understand your frustration. I've been there.

Think about the differences in motors and cams for a few.

Jim's 27 non stepped Fountain does 98 mph, I think it's safe to say it's making the power Getrdunn claims.

Looks like it made its peak power at 5750. Id like to think the tunnel ram intake is helping it carry rpm a little too.

All nicely done under 6k with duration similar to 741 cam. Most wouldn't believe it but that's ok. I've been in it and along side of it. I'd like to have had that engine in my old original 28' single saber.
