Just updated that page, we kept it basically stock on the rebuild, went 30 over and back with steel heads and stock cam. Wife was chomping at the bit to put it in water.

In order:

Base idle timing spec is 8* .
Most module's is typically the 24* unit, so this would give you 32* total, Double check of course.

One at a time, slowly turn idle mixture screws and see if each will make the carb stall. If not, they have some cleaning to do.

Once that is settled, move each idle mixture screw for most intake vacuum.

Set idle speed (neutral) for 700rpm when hot.

Ok, I'll check all that out tonight, and the carb is off getting the dam ear welded back on because I'm an idiot and over tightened the nut
