Default Outdrive line help

Can someone please tell me what this dangling line is off my port outdrive? Also, what do I have to do to fix it right?

Thanks

The hose with the tan tee is for the speedometer IF you have a water pressure operated one. If you don't - don't worry about it.

so where and how does it attach back? I don't want it just dangling. It seem the other drive has the same line without the tee just pinched off. Is that the way to fix this? I think my speed-o uses a pickup that looks like a hook under the boat by the plug.

With the drive trimmed way up it hooks into a hole that is hard to find IF you don't already know where it goes. It inserts and then you turn the handle to lock it in.
Invest in a GPS speedometer.

Look for the bolt that holds the front zinc on. The pilot tube hole is about 3 inches rear of that. Stick your hand up in there. You'll feel it. If your not using it. Cut it shorter and plug it off and plug it inside the transom also
