Default procharged 454 Mag rebuild upgrades ????

I am running a 454 Mag efi at 5 psi boost. I have upgraded the fuel system with all aeromotive stuff. I have also changed out to a 2 bar map sensor with reprogramed ecu( which I have the software to do so) . Im running stainless marine exhaust also

I am looking at rebuilding the motor soon . Would it be a big benefit to change out the cam and lower the compression and run 7psi of boost or new heads etc ??? . Motor is all stock at the moment !!!

THX

different cam and heads will yield big gains.if you want a max of 7 lbs boost your compression ratio is ok.

Do some research, there's a ton of combinations out there that could work. I would think something like the AFR 305, MLS gaskets, 9:1, 232/ 240 hydraulic roller on a 112, should be able to run 9lbs of boost on 93 octane. Just an opinion.
