I think Tim should start a new thread on oso and FB, apologizing to Bob Maderi , and letting all the guys who had a few hundred sleepless nights over cam lobe wear issues, that

ITS FINE. Kip Farberware said its normal wear. Carry on!

Wait a second ...hold on. I put my machinist bi-focals on, and called over my neighbors Golden Retriever, who moonlights as a seeing eye dog. He's been grinding camshafts since the smokey yunick days. I had him take a look on my 80 inch 4k machinist AERA approved monitor, and yep. Its confirmed. Its definitely crap. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kILUH34MJsU

Diet Dr Pepper , even when evaporated into air, will etch even the strongest of metals.
