Can make your lifters a little squishy from the air bubbles also. At least do it now rather than later.

yep, it's not a huge deal, at 5000 its fine... soon as IO crest that shortly after I see it fall... oh well better then the alternative...

How high did your oil temp get beating it?

I agree ^^^^ High oil temps and loss of psi can definately be a result of whipping your oil beyond submission. :)

Are these gauges hooked up? |
Laser said 220-230 in pans gauge said 280... last year reading after cooler at filter housing woukd be 200-220 max ever after 5 miles.
Filters look goood I checked last week to be sure while diagnosing issues |
Even 280-300 in pan wont kill it if flows ok... that's getting hot tho

Of course the laser was after stopping gauge was reading 260 I think laser 220-230... now that I look at notes

Heat gun don't always work good depends on the surface Bare aluminum don't work good just saying
