MAXX, great thread, I check it every once in awhile.
Are you retiring from your current employment?
Looks like you have a gift/talent that many could benifit from.
Speaking of X dem. On my double step Donzi, I am 5" from shaft center to hull bottom, I called IMCO awhile back and they said they could not help me if I was under 7".
We missed you at our party, maybe next time.

Bryan, I will be retiring in a couple of years. Keep me posted on the next gathering. I just finished huge project for a friend that took up most of my spare time these past few months, but I am freed up now
Give me a call about the Donzi.

Off the topic the photo you posted looks like the trim tabs hang down at an angle below the the hull. I always belived that when all the way up the should be several degres up to help creat negitive presure like a rocker. You might try taking them off sence it is simple to do for top speed. And with your drive hight I dout you need them to get on a plane? Just a thought. Charlie

454hoho, I got the article. It came through kind of fuzzy, but I was able to get the jist of it. According to the article my, generic, comment about the mass of the Bravo was correct.
This article really broke it down to specifics (Budman you may interested in this). For everyones information: the Bravo and Alpha are the same length and have the diameter bullet. Where they differ is the length of the bullet and the size of the case above the bullet. The Bravo, with the larger pinion gear, requires a larger case and this area is responsible for the decreased speed.
