I had a motor swallow a lifter this summer and it's lobe doesn't look that bad I still replaced the cam and lifters but man, that sucks for ya

I remove and install cams all the time and I can tell you that doesn't resemble an 8620 billet cam at all.

My guess is both will look the same. This isn't an anomaly or the first one like this. Quite common actually.

Thats the LS firing order cam he got from Bob Madera. Heres another one of bobs cams that was pulled out of an engine with 35 hours. looks like 8620 cam to me.
