holley,s are much easier but after you do a few q jets it,s no big deal.

if you replace the q jets i will buy them from you but they will need to be cheep.

Not too tough, I do a few a year typically...but definitely no where near as easy as a Holley with duel metering blocks and non stick gaskets.

So many of the muscle cars back in the day had QJ's, but if you were lucky enough to have a DZ 302 Z28 , 375/396 or a 427 you get a Holley

imo a q jet on a stock 330 bbc boat engine is hard to beat when it works correctly.

Which brings up a pro Holley statement - I would dare to say best carbs of all time where the Holley 3310's. I believe that series got started on the 454 LS6's.

The 3310's just worked...small block, big block, mild to somewhat wild.....perhaps 'runniest' carb of all time. It has my vote.

I have a Holley Marine 4150 on my 330. It took an adapter spacer, a new throttle cable mount, and a new fuel line to make it all work. I prefer the Holley platform just because they are easier to work on and I already had the parts to make it work. I cant really comment on performance since I never ran the boat with the q-jet but it runs flawlessly with the 4150.

I took a ride in a 70 LS6 Chevelle back in the day, holy moly it skeert the baJesus out of me...........soo fast

The shiny ones with all of the colorful anodized parts..

No idea how good they work. but the bling factor has to be worth a couple miles an hour
