Any issue with EFI doing this?

No. Mercury recommends it in all their high horsepower stuff.

The hard seats can definitely be harder to cut. I can blast through them on my old Serdi reasonably but I'm now using a Newen contour BB (which I love) and the hard seats can play hell on those cutters. Half of what I cut is copper and the other half is hard powder

What cutters are you using on your Newen? I'm cutting some hard exhaust seats and getting 40-48 seats cut before I change the cutter. I'd love to double that.
