Those intake temps below the blower? you guys dyno in the arctic or what? :D

That is the coolant temp not the intake air temp. The blowers are 6% under driven and 8.2 static compression

A 540 with 420 megablower at 5,500 with 6.5 pds of boost. What kind of power are you aiming for? You can get those merlins to flow but certainly going to need some work. Are you running an intercooler?

I'm no blower expert by any means however had half dozen or so on BBC's over the years. Some may disagree however 420 would seem a little small on 540 CI however they are an efficient blower. Cam wise 741 would work fine. I'd stay on the smaller side with your set up personally.

Here's a 548ci, with AFR 325 heads, with around 8.5lbs of boost. 420 Mega Blower, with chiller. Hyd roller, I do not recall the cam specs.

I don't have an intercooler. I don't know if I really need one with the boost I will be running. I want to make as much hp as possible at 5500 RPM max.

That is amazing power. I wonder what boost it is running.

That 420 blower must have low parasitic loss.
