I guess I read into it the wrong way the reason I ask is when I had Procomp heads they were much later than the AFR casting and everyone told me that was because of the grade of material, and because of that they could flex and lose the exhaust seats

Im really glad to read the info on this thread. I used these same heads. My builder reccomended them. I was skeptical at first but went with it. He told me we need the bare castings and he would build em up. He said he cleaned em up a little (not sure what that was) and then assembeled em. I have very little run time so far but glad to hear others opinnons on them.

I will put one on the bandsaw just for u sb. Hah. I didn't know there was YouTube videos on this but going by what Valako has said at this point all is good. Actually his comment was they were pretty much like a dart in many ways. He's working on the exhaust ports now and said it's making some huge improvements.
