Hopefully will have some numbers soon. Blower intake arrived today. I'm pretty certain Jims going to weld up the floors to optimize performance. Right now intake runner is at 340 cc. Little more than I anticipated but I'm not questioning it.

I dont think a 565ci with a roots, will mind a 340cc port at all. As long as its flowing well.

Alright...in generics....say you have a 320 port, and remove enough material from the top of the port. the short side radius, and enough to make the port uniform and slight taper, along with set the minimum cross sectional area where you want, you make a 340cc port.....do you really think even a smaller motor like a 502 is really gonna care ? In fact, it may, and probably will, make more power.

It's like when the LS motor first came out and people saw 240-260cc ports and schit themselves...until they drove them !

So, if a head porter is going into to your normal bbc heads, doing all these things and filling in the floor, as long as his all his required dimensions and shapes are transeferres, who cares if the post is +/- 10-20cc of what your head (on your shoulders) thinks ?

LOL.

Kinda sucks these 300cc 24* BBC oval port Brodix heads are so damn expensive.
Anyone notice something weird (ie: not typical) with these ?
