I have some flow data from these particular modified 317 promaxx heads that were used on this build. I'll refrain from posting them, until I can find out if the manometers calibration has been certified and checked.

mine was calibrated, and the numbers you have Joe (Chris's) are very close to mine so I myself find it hard to believe that 2 flow benches located across 2 separate countries, hundreds of miles apart be both wrong almost to a "T"

so PHUK all ya haters out there!! remember guys like me are out there doin it while guys like you, sit ur fat assez in ur lazyboys watchin and hatin!!! don't be wearin out ur keyboards allya'lll... :lolhit::angry-smiley-038::poopoo:

Scott Foxwells flow numbers from the EQ heads, were right inline with what mine flowed, and what valako got from them as well.

But hey, lets get back to comparing ADVERISED flow numbers from AFR's website :)

The AFR V2 style stud girdle fits these heads. That would be the stud girdle from the newer style AFR heads, not the older ones that had issues with rocker stud location. Afr went to the V2 updated castings a couple years ago

Glad I have real flow numbers on mine now also, learned a lot the last 2 years...

It would be GREAT if every dyno or head flow sheet had complete information, including a lie detector test from the operator saying he calibrated it, and entered accurate numbers!

Fact is they don't unfortunately. Doesn't matter anyways because it's easy to hit a number, the hard part is making them last in real offshore endurance, and that's what is lacking in this tech section. A bunch of keyboard cowboys who don't even have running boats let alone run any type of distance, poker run, race, etc. Then when their engines blow up they hide it and lie about it or make excuses. Just like the bravo guys bragging their drives last Year's but fail to mention they anchor all day at the sand bar.

Chit half the info in here is garbage. Tired of the constant name dropping without details. Like "stainless marine manifolds" OK which ones gen 1 or 3? "Callie's cranks" compstar or Magnum? "Scorpion rockers" ummm...Race, endurance?? There's so much incomplete and innacurate information I feel sorry for the newbies.

Shoot at least some people even dyno and flow their heads, and share their info right or wrong. Because those are just more tools to help succeed with a build. They are not God, they are just tools.

Overall this is a good thread let's keep the info coming!
