Yea they have been awesome. There straight forward and don't try to upsell you on parts that you don't need that's for sure. Plus there prices are amazing. $400 right now for there eagle forged cranks 1pc and 2 pc seals

If it helps anyone. I have a set of 6.385 Lunati rods 800$. 20 hours
500EFI blue motor 4.00 crank 600$ around 250 hrs
Merc racing h beams 400$ also 250 hours. All good. Standard size bearings came out
No problems

Little late now, but BAM still has a drop in ready 540 with warranty for 28K

In that case, why stop with a 4.25 stroke. Why not do a 4.375 stroke, and bore the blocks to 4.560, and build some 572 short decks. Instead of only gaining 38ci over a 502, youll gain 70 cubic inches

My wallet doesn't quite allow for that big of a build. I just got lucky and fell into the parts for my 540..... So my father-in-law talked me into it for the little extra it cost me.

My ultimate goal is just to get my Powerquest 270 Laser into the low 70s.....

If it was me personally going any bigger I would want to go with a tall deck... Just better rod angle
