If I lived in cape coral, FL had a 35' Fountain I would throw the rattle can in the trash and never look back, but I don't yep I use the rattle can.

I just black anodized a brand new pair of polished aluminum serpentine pulleys for my Hardin 3 stage water pumps. All so they would match the OEM black on crank and other accessories. Turned out nice, and no need to worry about paint or coating pealing off. But that only works on aluminum.

I don't see why powder wouldn't work. However for the time and cost involved, probably just sand and paint them and still look as good.

The powdercoating I plan to sub out. A few shops around me that do it. I have to finish and paint motors. Trying to get this thing back in the water asap. I have a whole bin of parts. Some of it to be blasted and coated. Some just blasted. Just thinking of tossing he pulleys in the bin. Lol

Very inquisitive abought the anodizing and the powder coat as far as color matching? I do automotive paint. anodizing is soaking in a some sort of bath with electrolisis am I right? can I 5 gallon pail a few small parts and if I can what would I be left with in waste. my gut tells me the powder coat would be more easy to match. New era fellas I see the epa getting castrated.

It seems like the v belts would just ride a smidge higher in the groove is all as long as the powdercoat stays intact.
