Default I found a prop that has exhaust holes in it.

Does it matter if I run it on a boat that doesn't utilize thru hub exhaust?

If you gave thru hull exaust it doesnt matter. The merc props can be plugged too if needed.

Those are not Exhaust holes. They are there to ventilate the prop to free it up so the engine can get up to a higher RPM ( power band ) - Helps getting on plane.
