Procharger performance

It's port injected. No I don't see any spikes. New pulleys just arrived so I will see after that but doubtful. In a car I know it can be an issue when the boost gets higher. I know 100 deg is obtainable with other setups i was just posting it because of where I'm getting my water from ( almost engine temp water). With some testing I did with doing one motor directly from the sea strainer and the other thru the crossover it was 18 degrees cooler but was in different operating conditions. I have the fitting to change it over but don't want to change too many things at once. Also another note on iat's i know of many setups that are in excess of 130. And that in a boat is to the point of needing timing pulled.

The flow curve starts out slower the bigger a procharger is, my m3sc made 900 or 950 ft lbs tq at 3500 and 890 or something like that at 3000 but it was pulleyed waaay up, i DRAG raced roots blown flat bottom vdrives from a 40mph roll from 3500 up and surprised quite a few of them with my 272 baja, fwiw, smitty

after violently bow steering bow sideways at 96 mph when testing the imco -2 and hanging onto steering wheel with legs in air it put the fear in me, sold shorty which never worked well and ran the 1050hp pulley w 30 pitch 98% of time after that around 96 mph, lost interest in breaking that century mark!

That little 232 was a REAL handful, ran mid 80s when we were done, told owner his next purchase should be twin ram full hys steering. Friend who bought the 272 had us put a m-3sc back on it yesterday but its on a iron headed 560hp 502 not the 548 i had. Going out to water tune that today or tommorrow, will probably run 78ish, with the big trim tabs and hyd steeringb i left on boat when i sold it that will be like a gentle cruising speed!

W 24"trum tabs, nose cone and full twin ram hyd steering boat was fairly solid to mid 90s, you wouldnt run those speeds in 3 footers or bad criss cross wakes by any means. I did race that 35 or 36 ft baja in pt huron that has lingenfelter 604's thru 2-3 foot criss cross waves for 8 or 10 miles a little hairy!!
