Default Thanks BUP and Boatnt

Boatnt and I contacted each other and I bought more than just his coil packs. I appreciate all the help on this forum!

Good to know about the knock-offs as well. I was on my way to making a mistake. I will be getting a refund from Amazon.

I will also have a more reliable vessel to boot!

It is so bad that NGK lists 3 down in their index top left. We started to see this 5 years ago on the marine side for spark plugs. It seemed like one out of 8 spark plugs were bad right out of the box from owners whom bought spark plugs online. At that time we even had a NGK rep stop by in person to see what was going on. He took all 8 spark plugs back with him. about 2 weeks later he called me and said we have a counterfeit issue taking place and that's all he could report. That same rep is retired currently.

70 to 75 percent min of NGK spark plugs are counterfeits sold online. 85 percent of fuel injectors online for marine apps are knock offs. 85 percent of them that is correct let that sink in. One example -- The China market sells the marine Bosch knockoffs for 5 bucks per injector to USA sellers who inreturn sell on ebay and amazon.. I know this first hand NO BULL Chit. I can prove this cause I have them in my hands and the China market hits me up all the time to buy their Fuel injectors. They actually send me their catalogs and price sheets. You would be shocked that they have pricing as low as 3 usa dollars per injector buying in quantity. I can prove that as well. I do not sell any CHINA made injectors period. EVER and I will stand by these statements here 1000 percent.

The ignition coils online for any LS and the IGN 1A most online are knock offs. 50 dollars and under for a new OEM coil with free shipping -- 99 percent its a Knock off. Call an AC Delco / or a distributor dealer and ask them how bad it is

Anyways NGK has a huge issue on their hands. I reported this before elsewhere.

Those aren’t AcDelco coils and they don't even claim to be.

AA Ignition is listed as manufacturer and GWA Auto Parts as reseller. Never heard of either.

Chesp knockoffs ? Sure. Counterfeit ? No.

AcDelco is partnered with Amazon, you can buy genuine AcDelco parts thru them.

Buying thru a reseller on Amazon isn’t always a good thing unless you know them well and can check the box and part itself to see if real.

Anyway, person I quoted was whom I asked that question as it sounded by his comments he was going to buy counterfeit Delco parts. I wanted to see it.
