T&d's are rebuildable also. From all the research I've done they're A1. I'm gonna try the yella Terra's I'm pretty certain due to my head guys advice.. Otherwise the T&d's. Not down grading the Jessels just don't seem to hold up as well but still used by many. Like anything else just depends. Everything is breakable.
I think you'll be fine with ruiteen maintenance. Just have to keep a close eye on things. Doesn't sound like you take long day trips rather just going out for a couple few hours and rip around and call it a day. I think it will be a riot just keep a close eye under the hatches and valve covers.

Did he read the fine print on the aluminum rockers where they discuss duty cycle, is it really worth waiting to see what happens when one of them break at 7000 rpm. Just for fun, check out all of the used Jesel aluminum rockers for sale. Good luck

There is alot of race engines and performance marine stuff out there that turn 7000 rpm and don t run steel rockers. Our race engine is 855 ci run 1/4 mile at 8000 rpm and we run 50 runs before and freshen up and it does not have steel intake rockers. And the ones on it know have 100 passes on them and have only had the tips replaced on them. And the cam is well over 1 inch lift
