Default Quick question on motor refresh

Guys I'm looking at a 99 boat w/ 500efi's w/ 300hrs. Seems like everything I read says the motors need refreshing about that time. Can anyone give a ball park figure as to what that normally runs $$? The motors would have to be pulled obviously. And also at what point is it time to redo the bellows and what does that normally run$$? Again I just need ballpark figures, I'm in Arkansas near LOTO etc. Thanks

Top ends at 300 hours - bellows should have already been done. Prices will vary depending on what is needed. Did top ends on one 575sci - new head gaskets, bolts all new valves springs retainers etc with machine shop time for about 3000.00. I supplied the labor. Had a very reputable marine tech - Dave at MDG , perform the assembly and parts purchase.

Should need top ends only refreshed. Prob 3-4k per engine depending on what parts are needed.

Verify hours with a scanner. I'd pull engines to do the top ends.

I've done top ends on 2 different single engine boats. One in boat and one with taking the engine out.
I would never do one in the boat again and would never attempt it with twins.
