Default Scorpion 4014 roller rockers on 496.

Hi Guys.

Hope you can help me out here.

Do any of you guys know if the 4014 Scorpion roller rockers with the arp 135-7201 studs will fit under the stock valvecovers on my 496 MAG HO.

Regards.
Jens henrik.

I have converted my 496 mag into a 496 mag Ho and installed a set af Stainless marine manifolds aswell. I have a set of 4014 Scorpion roller rockers i will install, just to beef up my valve train, but only If they will fit under my standard valve covers. Will they be plug and play??

I planned to do this exact setup a year or so back. Called Scorpion and asked the same question. They replied it "SHOULD" fit under stock valve covers. I did not want to be the test dummy or have to cut down the polylocks. I purchased a set of Raylar's rockers and AFN nuts proven to fit under stock covers. Must further add that valvetrain geometry is spot on with their setup on the stock guideplates and studs.

No problem. I was in your same situation. class6 stated in an earlier post that they will fit. Might want to contact him for sure. I could never get a 100% for sure answer.

Why does everybody use polylocks? The stock style jam nuts are just as strong and stay put. Polylocks are for constant lash adjustment with solids. And the poly's are what stick up so high.
