How long did your exhaust flappers last?
I had a pair of teague inner "butterfly" style flappers that maybe lasted 40 hours off of some dry pipes. I'm not sure if they were welded or riveted in place. Does everybody's inner flappers blow apart after short time? Is there a more secure way to mount these inside flappers...? Weld vs rivet?

Both flapper mounts are there, but I only have half a rubber in one of the pipes. I wonder if there are inner steel flappers? I could put high temp silicone on the edges so they don't make a "clatter" sound, since I usually here about the rubber on the outside of steel flappers peeling off.
