I hate carbs, but tuning a Quickfuel with a wideband has been quite tolerable, and wouldn’t want to run without a wideband again. I had plans of switching it to something like a Holley Sniper but I haven’t heard any case examples of it either way.

Ive heard they work well on SC applications such as this. A little too restrictive for NA for anyone wanting to go that route.

You have that mixed up. Draw thru is not like blow thru with various things.

800cfm main body. It shouldn’t hurt a stock 525sc much or at all but if you turned it up you’d probably be giving up hp over a big dominator or big TB.

That Holley setup looks nice. But at 1500 times 2... I'm sure the needed adjustments I'm looking at now would be cheaper. But, It is something to consider if or when I would need to replace the carbs...

The 525SC supercharger also have 4500/Dominator carb bolt patterns.

couple of things...EFI and cheap do not go well together, find a place to a get a 02 to live is another major feat(trust me on this one) and last they make it sound plug and play simple, sometimes it does turn out that way..sometimes far from it...

Thats just the beginning of my mix ups, lol.

FI is advancing pretty quickly these days. Add an O2 sensor with a wideband to sort out the carbs, and then if the sensor survives it’ll possibly be an easier upgrade to FI.

The more someone depends on the ECU to make the correct decisions when tuning, the more their chances of fking themselves up the azz at some point.
