Water dumps
 
I have a warlock 25 sxt with a carb 502.i have to much water presure.I put 2 dumps off the rear of the intake with values to controll the flow but the motor dosnt get enough water to the thermostate.where is the best place to put my dumps.Thanks.

Put an adjustable pressure relief valve in the main water supply hose.

Hardin Marine or CP Performance. I prefer to put them in the hose that goes from the oil cooler to the motor so you get full flow through the oil cooler.

Merc racing suggests to put there's and all water psi regulators after the oil cooler but before the block..

I put mine before the oil cooler, but I’ve never dumped any water. Mine runs at around 12PSI

Did you always have to much pressure or is something restricting the exit path of the water, block or exhaust manifolds full of rust or dirt.

You are obviously not running a thermostat.....correct?
