Cool! What fuel pumps are you running on this set up?

So as you know I used the Holley Sniper EFI on my build, well real world test Saturday, boat ran great need to do some looking at the data logs to better tune the system but the 02 sensor seem to have no problems at idle or running at WOT and cruise, do have a power steering leak so I have to address that. I feel that extending the inner pipe on the riser and a 114 lsa help to keep the 02 sensor dry. Other then the PS leak it was a great day. Didn't get any video as to busy watching the Holley dash with all data.

Nice! No back to back comparison to a carb, correct?

Im have fuel pump issues most likely due to a worn sea pump cam and will quite likely switch to the Sniper in the spring. Did you use Holley’s pump in their rigging kit or go different? Thanks!

Used all Holley, Sniper master kit came with pump, Holley ing box, coil and disty, I'm letting the system control the timing. Not carb vs the EFI as it was a 502 MPI, the system seem to be easy to set up and the data logs look ok but I want to get it tuned by someone that has a better knowledge than I at this point. My cam in the sea pump was trashed and I think that's why i went lean and burned up 2 pistons. From a quick look at the AFR readings cruise was avg 13.3, WOT 12.9.....avg learn was -13%, it may want more timing as I need to check my base timing again.

Regards

Well another real world test yesterday, ran great no problems with the 02 sensor staying dry, good throttle response, AFR are good runs well really likes 2500-5200 rpm range. I do have the Holley system controlling the timing. Seems like this system is going to work for me.
Set up on 515 mercrusier with AFR heads, and Victory JR.

Regards,

Yes the Sniper 800 cfm, injectors are in the TB, I 'm using all Holley stuff, coil, disty, cd box, Alex sent me a tune which the system is using but also learning as it goes.

Is the Sniper capable of running closed loop (with the tune you have from Alex)? If the O2 sensors fail
Thanks Jason

NO if 02 gets wet it in CL it will not learn correctly, so I run in CL an once the system learned I will go into open loop, but still use CL once in a while to check things.

the ECU is still in Closed Loop feedback (if Closed Loop is enabled/check marked). The ECU is just not in Learn mode.
Closed Loop (WBO2 sensor feedback) & Learn (self-tuning) are two separate functions. CL must be active for Learn to function.
