Dick -

I havn't had any time to go out in daylight and try to look at it. It rained about 4 days straight, naturally. Hope to take a look at it this weekend but with the kitchen remodel and otehr projects still might not make it. Sometimes I envy those guys who can keep the boat in a nice dry warm lighted warehouse.

First thing i would do is walk around teh boat with a screwdriver and check all the screws on the rub rail and windows(if you have any) to see if any are stripped! That would most likely be the culprit. A friend of mine had a brand new boat from the factory with 6 stripped screws on the bow area rub rail that was leaking water into the cabin and saoking the bed area!

Did get time to do a little snooping on Sunday. Tacing the wet carpet backwards as far as I can, it appears to start just under the sink drain thru-hull (although it was dry at the fiting itself and on the side of the hull). It looks like a possibility that the water is coming in from the sink drain fitting, getting a little back-wash when I'm out running but taking so long to weep through the carpet to where I noticed it that it showed up several days afterwards. If I get some more time I'll have to try to pull that thru-hull and check it more.
