Wouldn't it be the same as a carb engine since the EFI is on the engine and all of the EFI wiring will be on the engine. I could be wrong though

Yes, its the same as carb, the EFI harness attaches to the engine harness on the motor.

The arrow points where the EFI harness connects to the engine harness. Depending on SN the connector(s) can change

Need someone with a 525 wiring diagram (I don't have one) but the FP relay is turned ON by the PCM applying a ground to one side of the relay coil. See if you have 12V on one side of the coil with the key ON but not cranking. The click your hearing might be the MPR which turns things ON but the PCM is not energizing the relay.

Now if the FP does turn ON but does not turn back ON when cranking, suggest seeing if your getting a tach signal showing at least 300 rpm when cranking

its a mefi 4b not a 555 controller, so thought maybe the fp driver shot craps but changed the 4b with another and does the same thing

Should work the same as PCM (ground to turn on)
Measure voltage on pins 85 and 86. With key ON the pump should turn ON which one of the 2 will go from 12V to 0V, the other will stay at 12V. If nothing changes and they both stay at 12V, then the ECM is not applying a ground
