Outdrive shift engagement

I noticed all last season that my Bravo 1 drives shift differently. Starboard side shifts firm and noticeable. Port side is super soft and almost completely unnoticeable. Is this something to worry about? 02 292 Fastech. Boat is currently in winter storage but will be coming out in April. Any input is appreciated!
